The United Pentecostal Church International, or UPCI is a "Oneness" or "Jesus Only" Pentecostal group. Their official website and information on their group from their perspective may be found at http://www.upci.org/. I neither agree with nor condone much of the information on this website, but present this URL in the interest of fairness. While I must confess that I have met several wonderful individuals associated with the UPCI, the official teachings of the UPCI disturb me greatly.
After both research and much soul searching, I have been forced to come to several conclusions about this group. According to my studies, the UPCI is, quite simply, a pseudo-Christian cult. They are no more "Christian" than many other currently popular religious cults. They selectively interpret the Bible and deny orthodox Christian beliefs as well as Apostolic teachings.
I strongly caution any inquirer from becoming involved with any church or group belonging to this cult. Listed below you will find links to websites which will provide information about the UPCI which you will not find on their official website as well as comparisons of UPCI teachings to those of orthodox Christianity.
Please! Join with me in praying for the conversion and salvation of the members of the UPCI and their return to the arms of the Christian Church established by Jesus Christ and his Apostles.
May God bless you, and guide you in your search for truth!

All Christian Churches and/or Denominations share certain characteristics in common. For example:
They accept the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God.
They accept the creeds as statements of faith (i.e., Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, and/or Athanasian Creed).
They baptize believers with the Trinitarian formula (i.e., "I baptize thee in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost." This was the form given by Jesus Christ to His Disciples in Matthew 28:19.)
Any church or denomination which does not conform to the above three characteristics is NOT a Christian church or denomination, although they may claim to be so.
